I only read this thread today, being that I have not been on here much except to babble my mundanity and shoot the breeze.

I have no words to convey which would bring you any more comfort than those that have posted before me, so I will simply say this:

After reading your OP, I decided to take some action. You see, where I currently lived (i just moved back here), there is a veritable FLOOD of refugees coming in from Lousiana. We have no open hotel rooms, and we have no open diners, etc. People here have been tremendous in their rush to aid those in need, but alas, since I arrived only days ago, I have done nothing but sit on my ass and play games, eat, and smoke cigarettes.

My routine has been altered only in that where I now live is not where I once lived. Therefore, your post, the passion it shows, and the human ache that is within you has propelled me to get off my ass, and do something locally. I make 90k a year, I am my own boss, and I'll be damned if I sit another moment and not help someone who needs it more than I do.

I appreciate this thread, and I appreciate you sharing with us your personal torment. You see, game or not, that took balls. There are alot of folks online who have hearts that honestly...well, do not beat in time with mankind.

Thank you, and may you find peace. I'll earn mine.

I.. err.. see why the moderators were pruning this thread. To keep scum like you away. Until you posted, I never saw anything bad in this thread. Then you.. come along and have to fsck someone's day up? How dare you. You could have said nothing at all. You should be ashamed of yourself. How old are you, 15? That's not to say 15 year olds are all like you. The rest of them have been supportive.

You disgust me. I hope you can understand that. I hope you know how utterly cold your heart is. I don't know you, and I don't want to know you, but if you spent 10 seconds in my shoes and read what you wrote, maybe you'd be sitting here in tears.

No, he's at least 18 or lying, since he claims to be a Marine in his profile. Which would be another explaination why he has no regard for human life or misery.

he is lying about the Marine part and is probably about 12-15 years old from a secure 2 parent home with still living grandparents.

only someone lucky enough to not be touched with family deaths could be so casual about someone being hurt.

he/she is lucky beyond belief and doesnt even realize it

Unlike some of the others I would piss on you if you were on fire but only to temper the flames so I could get close enough to squeeze lemons on your wounds then add some more lighter fluid to your clothes.

I shed a tear for you reading this story.
Which isnt an easy thing to do...

I will pray for you, and i hope your heart can find a way to persevere.

Live is funny how it feeds on love, and once found it all seems great, then life somehow changes, and throws you a curveball

experienceing a loss like you have, can make a person shut down mentally...

I urge you not to fall too deep into that. Someday you will awake from the anguish, and will be able to smile again, for now, let your heart lead you...
God will take care of the rest.

So sorry

Once again, a non-entity, whom I had no idea existed before they spoke, felt the need to validate their own worthless existence by trying to callously cause harm to another human being, all in the name of...being pointless. The magic is in the madness, I guess.

Consider yourself on my ignore list, and for future reference, if you were to die in a large body of water that filled your own home, no one would notice, care, or take pity on those you left behind, though I surmise from your obvious sociopathic personality traits from your posts there wouldn't have been anyone living beside you in the halfway house you obviously reside in. You are human tash, plain and simple. There is no joy in telling you this, only sorrow for those that must face your ugliness within on a daily basis. I only pity those who have not shot you in the face.

Post back at me all god damn day, I can't, and won't read it.

Zehly, do not take such words to heart dear. People who say things like that have one of two goals in life:

a) convince themselves they matter to someone, no matter good or bad, so they can avoid blowing their brains out at walmart on christmas eve,

or

b) To cause hurt and pain on others because they have nothing better to contribute to the human race.

Do not feel anger at the moron, feel pity in the knowledge that a come-uppance is more profoundly horrible than that fate which befell your love. Preserve your inner strength, and let the morons commit mass suicide. I for one admire you for the fact that you shared something so personal with all o us, even the nadsacks that lurk between the pavement and the turds, and you kept your cool, and did not stoop to that level. Bravo, and respect.

As for the tard, he is doomed to a life of only getting attention on a forum between sunrise and sunset. There are few worse ways to live my dear

...there are no words in any language that can describe how pathetic that statement is. I will not resort to throwing any character degrading comments your way, as a comment such as your own obviously shows no remorse or respect for the feelings and cares of others.

What do you care of our oppinions of you? What do you care of others who are less fortunate than you make yourself out to be? What do you care of others who you so delve to infuriate with thoughts in your mind that you wish to draw attention to? These are questions you need to ask yourself; and are some of the many that you need to answer before you even begin to interract with another human being.

After four hours of crying, I just let it go. I figured that he would enjoy having that kind of power over someone. No one has that power over me.. sans Eileen, of course. To me, he's just Another Brick in the Wall.

*UPDATE*
Tomorrow is the day I've dreaded. I don't know if I can really go through with it. But I'm honored to have been loved by someone so indescribably magnificent as Eileen.

More..
Telling my story has given me an amount of strength over the last week that has propelled my will to get up in the morning. I want to give to you a little bit more about me. To understand me, and why I'm so wierd.

I was born of April 11, 1985, in the city of Tokyo, Japan. I don't speak Japanese (except what I've learned from other Japanese girls), because my mother--Japanese--and my father--American--came to America, and left me.

For seventeen years I lived with foster parents. I've gone from school to school. City to city. State to state. Family to family. So I have no family. Eileen was my only family, but that's gone. Yet I must try to endure that the best I can.

A lot of things have happened to me in my life. Many bad things, and a few good ones.

When I was fourteen, I was diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder. This was determined after I was involuntarily committed to a children's psychiatric institution for delusions, hallucinations, and extreme paranoia. I've managed to make it through that, more or less, thanks to help from Eileen, and state-provided healthcare.

When I was sixteen, I was at an anime convention, when I was accosted by an older man, and inevitabely, repeatedly, raped. Because of this, I can no never have children.

My biggest fear has, is, and will remain to be, until I can fully surmount it, the fear of denial, rejection, and exploitation. Having not known what a real relationship was until Eileen, it seems almost impossible to know what one is like without her. I don't know ..

But I've made it this far. And I attribute that to the morale, emotional, and sometimes even physical support of Eileen. Thank you, Eileen.

I have come to realize--in part, through my own progression through the situation, and in part, because of your posts, and the numerous private messages sent by many of you--that though she is gone, the best of her is still with me, every minute of every day.

As much as I sometimes would like to join her in the afterlife, I realize that I owe her the fulfillment of her dreams in this life. That is to say, that the dreams she had for us, I'm going to fulfill to the best I can. Those dreams are too deep to put out in the open.

You guys have became a bit of a family to me--one that has accepted a lost girl into your home, and for that I am ever greatful.

I'm out of words.

~Lain~

Zehly, no matter how insignificate and fragile you may feel, just enduring this not to mention sharing this with others I have to say. You are strong.

While Eileen with out a doubt showed you the way, you must attribute some of the strength that has pulled you through to yourself. Despite all the terror and hardships, there is still beauty in this world. You have taught me this with your story and I hope you can realize that as well. I am glad that you have resolved to keep on living and that you, despite what has happened, have trusted others enough to open up your heart.

Yes, you're all correct. I am a monster... but I am the monster that helps you sleep at night knowing that your safe in your little world while I fight off the bad guys in other countries. I'm the monster that has to suffer so others can have the privilege of knowing what freedom is like. Have any of you seen how much damage a car bomb can do? Esp. to a dozen of people standing near it? Bodies are flying everywhere.

When people grieve for their lost ones, they don't go around begging for attention! They don’t go to chat rooms and forums posting about their lost ones… they cry in solitude and they tear up inside, quietly. This BS of you typing in “*Crying* I can’t go on with the story…” is a joke. I can understand if your 12 years old, but 20!?

Answer me this one question zehly, why did you post your story on this forum? Did you do it for morale support? Have people post “I’m sorry” and feel bad for you so you can feel better? I’m sorry for the first statement I made but I had to ruin the moment there. I had to stop it. I’ll bet you heard the screech of a record player put to a halt when you all read that.

If you want to “support” those who are at a loss from Katrina, get off your lazy butt and do something about it. You can donate that special type of blood you have that someone else needs at this very moment. Donate a couple of dollars or the change in your pocket you have right now. Dust off the cans of food that’s been stored in the back of your kitchen cabinets and donate it. DO SOMETHING OR DO NOTHING!

Those of you that have lost friends and loved one’s from Hurricane Katrina, I apologize and am very sorry for your loss, but don’t go around posting it, making it everyone’s business! You don’t see Marines posting on here about everyone dying in Iraq.

Another thing, if you have a sticker on the bumper of your car that says, “Supporting the troops”, slap yourself and rip it off. The only way you can support us is by picking up a rifle, put your flak and kevlar on and rush yourself to Afghanistan or Iraq.

Preach on... Coming from a military family, my dad is due to Iraq in a couple of weeks. And to support him and the future I'll join the military after I finish college. I also have the little magnet i got from my cousin in the army, he's riding a humvee right now. My uncle just came back from the Iraq and hes doin great.

I hope I get in as a officer.
